1. Introduction

TruckDuty is a mobile application designed to help professional drivers manage their daily work, vehicle information, fuel records, and GPS route history.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected when using TruckDuty.

The application is developed and operated by Silent North Interactive.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use, TruckDuty may process the following information:

• Driver name or profile name.
• Email address associated with Google Sign-In.
• Unique account identifiers used for authentication.
• Vehicle information entered by the user.
• Daily work records, mileage, fuel records, and notes.
• GPS location data when route tracking is enabled.
• Technical identifiers used by authentication and cloud services.

3. Google Sign-In

TruckDuty supports optional authentication using Google Sign-In. When you sign in, account information such as your email address, profile name, and account identifier may be processed to provide authentication and cloud synchronization.

You can use TruckDuty without signing in to a Google account. However, features requiring an online account or cloud synchronization may not be available.

4. Data Storage and Cloud Synchronization

TruckDuty stores application data locally on your device. When cloud synchronization is enabled, relevant application records may also be transmitted to and stored using Google Firebase services.

Firebase services are provided by Google and are used to support authentication, data storage, and synchronization.

5. GPS Location Data

TruckDuty offers optional GPS route tracking. Location access is used to record routes, display journeys on a map, and identify stops during a trip.

Route tracking is controlled by the user through the application's tracking features and settings. When enabled, GPS tracking may continue while the application is running in the background.

Location information is used to provide route-related functionality and is not used for advertising.

6. How We Use Information

Information is processed to:

• Provide the application's main features.
• Manage user accounts and authentication.
• Store and synchronize user records.
• Record and display GPS routes.
• Maintain application functionality and security.

7. Data Sharing

Silent North Interactive does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers, including Google Firebase, when necessary to operate authentication and cloud synchronization.

These services process information according to their applicable terms and privacy policies.

8. Data Security

We use appropriate technical measures to protect information processed by TruckDuty. Data transmitted to supported cloud services is protected using encrypted connections.

No electronic storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored information remains on your device until it is removed through available application controls or by deleting the application's local data.

Cloud information may remain associated with your account until it is deleted or an account deletion request is completed.

10. Children's Privacy

TruckDuty is designed for professional drivers and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
